Citing reports of an increase in anti-Semitic acts in Venezuela, including statements by Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez that demonized Israel; Chavez’s expulsion of Israel’s ambassador to Venezuela and severing of relations with Israel; and reports of Hamas and Hizballah operating in Venezuela, the resolution condemns the anti-Semitic acts in Venezuela; express support for those targeted by the Venezuelan government; and expresses grave concern regarding the increased collaboration between Iran, Hizballah, and the Venezuelan government.
