Like similar bill S. 67 of 1/9/17, this bill would convey the sense of Congress that Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps meets the definition of a foreign terrorist organization. Along those lines, it would also require the secretary of state and director of national intelligence to submit a report detailing their reasons for concurring or rejecting Congress’s conclusions and justifying which criteria, if any, the group does not meet.
