Expressing the policy of the United States to pursue and enter into a military treaty alliance of extended deterrence with the State of Israel

This resolution called for the U.S. to pursue a military treaty alliance that would commit the U.S. to ensure Israeli security with the U.S. nuclear arsenal. The resolution also called for the treaty to take effect when and if the secretary of defense certifies to the president that Iran has developed a nuclear weapon.
