Making appropriations for Science, the Departments of State, Justice, and Commerce, and related agencies for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2006, and for other purposes

The State Dept. portion of the bill appropriates $375,000 for the Israeli-Arab Scholarship program for Israeli Arabs to attend institutions of higher education in the United States; bars U.S. assistance to the Palestinian Broadcasting Corporation; requires the secy. of state, for purposes of registration of birth, certification of nationality, or issuance of a passport of a U.S. citizen born in Jerusalem, to record the place of birth as Israel upon request of the citizen.
