Celebrates the treaty’s strength and endurance and commends it as an extraordinary diplomatic achievement that required historic sacrifices by Egypt and Israel. Commends the “steadfast determination of both nations to sustain their mutual commitment to peace.”Calls for the strengthening of economic, diplomatic, and cultural relations between Egypt and Israel and for the recognition of the Egyptian-Israeli peace treaty as a “model mechanism upon which partner nations may build” to overcome conflict. Seeks to encourage continued United States efforts to foster initiatives to resolve existing conflicts and mitigate emerging threats to Middle East peace.
